My Gilpins - are we related? #1

My Genetic Tree
Hi,
Here is a register report for my Gilpin lineage. The ** on some of the people listed indicates my direct lineage. the (G1-17) is the combination of two genealogy files that have been combined and my blood lines that I share with others will have the abbreviation I have chosen for that lineage.  A "a" included indicates that lineage is from a female of that surname. A "b" indicates a spouse but not a genetic lineage connected to me. All genetic lineages show an abbreviation and a number.

Descendants of John (**G1-17) Gilpin and Rebecca MNU (**Unk-??a) Gilpin

 1. John (**G1-17)1 Gilpin, born Est 1737 in N. Ireland.  He married Rebecca MNU (**Unk-??a) (Gilpin) Gilpin, born Est 1747 in Thought to be N. Ireland.

When I started DNA testing Gilpin males I assigned numbers like G-1 for males and G1a for females this has helped me identify spouses of the different genetic lineages that I descend from. A spouse is G-1b.
